Who we are
At iTeach we are passionate about two things – technology and education. We are a not-for-profit organisation who believe in the empowering and engaging use of technology, and our goal is to show schools and teachers how best to incorporate the two for effective learning.
We have deployed more iPads in education than any other organisation in the UK or Ireland.
Experienced Experts
We are experts in our field – in general IT infrastucture, classroom IT integration. But our greatest strength and experience lies with the iPad. We have planned, managed and trained many schools in iPad deployment ranging from teacher only roll outs, through class sets to full school 1:1 roll outs. Put simply, we are leaders in this area.
Our principal is an Apple Education Mentor, and as an organisation we have been at the forefront of iOS (Apples iPhone and iPad operating system) knowledge since its inception – delivering applications and training exclusively within the education sector.
We care
We have been involved with STEM centric work in schools as part of our commitment to our 10% volunteer time rule – each of our consulants must spend 10% of his or her working week working with local schools on STEM initiatives. We are not-for-profit, and so we have no agenda to sell you anything.
Our team – supported by Teachers
Our small team is drawn from IT and usability experts and trainers, but one of the most important aspects of our team is our reliance on our teacher review panel – a panel of cross subject teachers who provide us with real insight into the needs of their subject, their classroom and its challenges, and our teacher trainers – bringing classroom insight into subject specific training
Impartial and dependable
We don’t sell iPads, so we are impartial and deliver only the best advice and training based entirely on your individual school needs. We’ll help make any deployment seamless and we will ensure that your teachers get to do what they do best – Teach, by putting into practice what we believe are the best training packages available.
Local
iTeach is Belfast based and runs courses on site at school premises, plus satellite workshops all over Northern Ireland. We work at department, school, board and geographical level at all school sectors including Pre school, primary, post primary and Special Needs. But given our vast experience, we also work worldwide as required – so if you have a conference, project or teacher professional development requirement, contact us and we will deliver what you need, where you need it.
