iPad Setup & Management
Deploying iPads can range from just a few devices right up to full 1:1 programs with a device for every pupil and teacher. There is no ‘one size fits all’ solution for any school. It’s important that you take into consideration policy, app management, restrictions, settings and security tailored to your age group, facility and policy.
Why managed? As a school, you will likely need policies and restrictions in place. You’ll need to tie a device to a pupil or staff member. You’ll need to update the iPad, and also have the ability to check on its usage – even wipe it if it gets stolen. There are lots of options, and they will be driven by the dynamics of your school.
At iTeach, we offer a range of off the shelf solutions that are tailored to your school needs. We’ll make it simple to get going, and as ‘hands off’ or as ‘hands on’ as you want it. Our services are secure, proven and incredibly cost effective, and delivered by us.

Our super simple set up
Just got your iPads? £3 per device for the first 50 and £2 per device thereafter – we will set up all of your syncing, appleid, store accounts and user profiles. We’ll even put them in the cases – you get iPads, ready for the classroom. They will be managed, controlled and administered. This is quote simply the most robust, effective, simple solution to get you going fast.*
The Manual Way
Great if you have less than 10 iPads – set up as normal, connect to Wifi and you’re good to go – but you don’t have management, control or the ability to restrict, track or update devices – thats down to each individual user. Free.
The Cart Way
Handy for a class set of maximum 20 iPads – load them into a cart and sync to a Mac – they will all look the same and have the same apps. You don’t have control or policy level though, and it can be a labour intensive task. Cost – a Mac plus cart (approx £1400 for 22 iPads).
The Best Way – Managed
This takes iPad provisioning completely online and this will completely manage all iPads, all managed through a simple to use web page. Changes are ‘pushed’ to each device OTA (over wifi, so they don’t need plugged in) , locked at user level, and you can remotely lock or wipe iPads, and you can have detailed reports on all iPads. This is the most secure, robust and automated solution available.
